Which of the following policies do you all think is most reasonable for dealing with AF2 for new jobs in Sept.
1) Allow all people with the jobs at 75 to lot in a seperate tier. The main downside to this is that it will give all the members lotting an extra tier of priority lotting and in some cases 2 extra tiers for the few weeks it will be in effect which might cause problems with those who ARNT lotting new jobs but having to compete on a sublot tier with those who are. On the upside for the members lotting they dont have to waste a sublot tier for half the month.
2) Allow people to declare sublots on the new jobs for Sept. This will force people to CHOOSE a level of priority and may result in some people picking lower tiers cause they dont want to mess with bidding for other items. It will also effectively make those members who want to lot new AF2 waste a sublot slot for whatever portion of the month is before the patch.
Both these policies have their pros and cons. 1 is more favorable for the people who levelled BLU/COR/PUP (and have multiple other jobs they are trying to get AF2 for) while 2 is more favorable for the rest of the membership.
Whatever we choose will only have an effect for 1 month tops so we dont need to think too hard about it. Personally I am leaning towards 2 because the people who arnt lotting new AF2 is a bigger majority than those who are but I dont really care which of these two we adopt for Sept.

#1 Sounds like it'll piss more people off then its worth and not really worth the trouble. We didn't tell people to lvl 597908 jobs to 75 so it's not really our concern to help those people gear up first.
#2 Sounds like it'll piss off less people and favors the overall membership without favoring people who have lvled a crap ton of jobs to 75 so I'm in favor of #2 also.

Ok we will go with 2 then.
The only other question I have then is weather sublot changes should be in effect at the start of the month for people interested or first run after patch so they dont "waste" a slot for an unknown part of the month.

After thinking it over some more I think I will go with the following as a compromise:
Allow people who are willing to take the risk to declare subs to go ahead and declare them. These will be active at the first of the month as normal.
For those who DONT declare subs and ONLY for the month of September priority on Openlot will goto members who have declared new jobs at 75. This means that said AF2 will not be "wasted" going to someone who has COR at 42 and a ton of points to blow (like myself) over those who can actually use. It also addresses the issue of members having to bid blind since there is a small chance we may not know what drop where the first run or two (while other LS report in) based on when the patch is.

No problems with the compromise.
