I don't know what happened to it. Worked fine thursday, and friday I came home to a flashing orange light on the front. It wouldn't start and even after unplugging it for a while, nothing.
A friend says it might be thepower supply or the motherboard, neither of which I have the ability to repair myself.
I am hoping to have this fixed soon but I don't know for sure how long it'll take. :/
If anyone knows how to fix it or what it might be, please let me know. I can check these forums at work.

Its possible it is the power supply. I think you changed the graphics card recentlly and if the power rating of that was higher than the old one its possible that it went over what the power supply could handle (although pre built comps usually have some leeway).
If you have alot of USB devices plugged in (printer/scanner/etc) you can try to unplug all but the mouse/keyboard and see if that helps. You can also try listening to see if you can tell what all is powering up (if anything).
Beyond that without being there I cant really think of what it might be. Theres the usual problems dust/heat or in your case loose cables on the graphics card (since that was just replaced). Could also be the motherboard being faulty I guess which might have caused the first card to go poof.

Yes the power supply is 375Watts, but the new card needs 400 watts. I asked several people and they said that shouldn't be a problem if i'm not running a lot of things. I have no other USB stuff plugged in other than the mouse and keyboard. speakers off, etc.
The inside of the case is pretty clean though very little dust and the video card worked fine for a week so I don't think its loose. I unplugged the power cord to it (6 prongs, 2x3) and it set of an alarm on the card.
The only thing powering up was the fan on the video card. Otherwise nothing else was. The light just kept blinking and the fan would start spinning...then stop. wait 5 seconds and repeat.
I don't know if the PS is something I can replace myself? Seems difficult with all those cords :/

Your friend is right about those two possibilities, but it could also be the ram or cpu failing. Since you say orange, it's probably a hp or dell.. in which case all of the above are pretty common to have happen. Have a diagnostic done on it to identify the problem for ya before you spend any money to fix it.
